It’s summer and a white bubble hem skirt is the perfect silhouette for any day or evening. Also known as the balloon skirt, this flirty hemline is a major trend this year. There are so many ways to style this playful silhouette. Although it comes in many different lengths and they are all very cute and feminine, I will only be styling the midi length option. So here’s some outfits I’ve styled with the bubble skirt that are super easy to create and actually wear.

Black and white is everything this summer. And, it’s a classic! There is nothing more chic than a black and white combo. This waistcoat is a perfect pairing to the pleated bubble hem with its slimming fit and natural split bottom. Add a strappy sandal and cute handbag, minimal jewelry and perfection!

White and denim is classic. Mixing a denim vest with the feminine silhouette of the bubble skirt gives nothing but summer chic vibes. Whether you choose a light or a dark wash denim, either will stand out. Pair with natural sandals or espadrilles or even a mary jane flat. Finish the look with a pop of color with accessories. I chose here a simple light pink in jewelry and just a neutral crossbody. Such a simple look that can easily be recreated using your choice of color and style.

Any bold or bright color top will compliment the white midi bubble skirt. Opt for a more fitted style or a flattering neck line such as a halter, off the shoulder, asymmetrical or strapless style. Even a simple fitted tank top would be simple and chic. One top I’m loving with this bubble skirt is this navy asymmetrical shoulder with cinch waist. This look would be complete with natural espadrilles or light strappy sandals as shown in the example.
